Best Foldable Phones You Can Buy

Honor keeps reducing the thickness and weight that make book-style foldables awkward. The Magic V6 feels much closer to a normal flagship when it is closed.

Huawei’s Mate XT opens from a phone into a genuinely tablet-sized three-panel display. It is expensive and compromised, but no other shipping foldable is this ambitious.

OnePlus uses a practical aspect ratio and fast interface to make split-screen work feel natural. The Open 2 is especially convincing for documents, mail and messaging together.

Oppo’s shorter, wider format is easier to handle than many tablet-shaped rivals. The Find N6 also gives the inner screen enough room for useful side-by-side apps.

Vivo treats cameras as a priority instead of a necessary compromise, pairing its foldable body with flagship-level imaging. The large battery also makes the format easier to trust.

Xiaomi fits a large inner screen and high-end components into a relatively thin body. The Mix Fold 5 delivers a lot of hardware without becoming punishing to carry.

Samsung’s eighth Fold combines mature multitasking software, strong hardware support and broad availability. It is the safest large foldable for buyers who do not want to experiment.

Google pairs its clean Android interface and strong computational cameras with software built for the larger display. The Pixel Fold 3 makes multitasking unusually easy to understand.

The Z Flip 8 refines the compact format with reliable cameras, polished software and a cover screen that handles common tasks without opening the phone.

Motorola makes the outer display central rather than decorative: messages, maps and many full apps work while the Razr remains closed. That changes how often we unfold it.
