Smart Glasses We’d Actually Wear
Meta closed a recording-light loophole in August. The harder problem is making these socially acceptable.
1.
Even Realities G1
Even Realities leaves out the camera and hides a small text display inside prescription-friendly frames. The G1 is one of few smart glasses that can pass as ordinary eyewear.

2.
Oakley Meta HSTN
Oakley’s HSTN version uses sportier frames, better resistance and hands-free capture for training. It makes more sense during exercise than adapting a conventional Wayfarer.

3.
Xreal One Pro
Xreal’s micro-OLED displays create a large private screen for films, games and laptop work. The One Pro is less everyday eyewear than a genuinely portable monitor.

4.
Rokid Glasses
Rokid focuses on translation, navigation and short prompts rather than filling the wearer’s view with graphics. That restraint makes the glasses easier to imagine using outside a demo.

5.
Halliday Glasses
Halliday places a small display near the wearer’s normal sightline while keeping the frame relatively discreet. Its limited interface is a reasonable trade for all-day usefulness.

6.
Brilliant Labs Frame
Brilliant Labs publishes much of Frame’s software and invites developers to alter how the glasses work. The rough edges are part of a genuinely open wearable experiment.

7.
Ray-Ban Meta
Ray-Ban Meta puts a capable camera, open-ear audio and voice controls into familiar frames. The privacy questions remain, but the product no longer feels like a prototype.

8.
Solos AirGo Vision
Solos separates its camera module from the frame, allowing owners to remove it when they want lighter or less intrusive glasses. That modular decision deserves more attention.

Vuzix Z100
Vuzix designed the Z100 for warehouse instructions, notifications and other brief workplace information. Its light frame is far more practical than the bulky industrial headsets it replaces.

10.
RayNeo X3 Pro
RayNeo’s X3 Pro attempts full-color augmented reality in a self-contained frame. It remains conspicuous, but the display shows how quickly real AR is approaching consumer size.
